SigFeeder is a web service to help people promote blogs on the web. It does this by creating an image with the titles of one's blog posts. This image, or SigFeeed, is periodically updated to reflect updates on the blog. SigFeeder encourages people to use these images in ther signatures on web forums, so that other forum readers may be informed on what sorts of articles the SigFeeder user has on their blog. In performing its functions, SigFeeder collects the following information about its users:

• The user's email address.
• A password. The password is stored in a hashed (encrypted) format in SigFeeder's database; nonetheless, for your safety, it is suggested that you select a password for your SigFeeder account which does not match your password(s) for your computer's user account, any online banking or shopping accounts, or so on.
• The web addresses (URIs) of the blogs or other sites the user wishes to use SigFeeder in conjunction with, and recent copies of the RSS or Atom feeds that those sites provide.
• Other trivial information, such as the date on which the user's account was created and how they desire their SigFeed to look.

For donations, it is necessary to collect one's address and credit card information; however, this information is not collected or stored by SigFeeder, but by its payment processor, currently Google Checkout.

SigFeeder may periodically send email to its members in case of a serious event regarding SigFeeder, but will not regularly contact its members with a "newsletter" or something along those lines.

I hate spam just as much as the next guy, so I promise not to share your email address or any other personal data with a third party, especially unsolicited commercial emailers.

By creating an account at SigFeeder, you agree to absolve Garrett Albright and any potential other members of SigFeeder's team of any responsibility for damages, whether physical, financial, structural, mental, emotional, or any other sort, which may somehow directly or indirectly occur by its use.

SigFeeder makes no guarantees with regards to service speed or uptime.

SigFeeder retains the right to terminate any account in the event of abuse of the SigFeeder service or other reasons. Abuses which may lead to account termination include, but are not limited to:

• Use of the SigFeeder service in a manner which is illegal or harassing. (SigFeeder's server is located in California, USA and is subject to California state and United States federal law.)
• Inordinate use of SigFeeder resources (especially bandwidth).
• Fraud involving SigFeeder's payment systems, promotions, referrer systems, and so on.
• Creating a SigFeed which features pornographic, disturbing or "trollish" imagery.

The mention on this site of others' trademarked names of services which can be used in conjunction with SigFeeder does not imply any sort of partnership, sponsorship, or even awareness of SigFeeder by the owners of that trademark.
